Dr. Leong’s goal during a BOTOX® brow lift is to relax the muscles that pull down on the eyebrows. This not only lifts the brow, but also opens up the eyes, reduces a “hooded” eyelid appearance and creates an appealing arch of the eyebrows. This procedure is only recommended for mild drooping of the brow. During a consultation in our Pittsburgh, Wexford, Sewickley or Greensburg office, Dr. Leong will determine if a surgical brow lift or upper blepharoplasty might better meet your needs.

Why choose Sistine Facial Plastic Surgery for treatment?

As a facial plastic surgeon, Dr. Leong has extensive training of the face and neck (both surgically and non-surgically) and can therefore develop a treatment plan that has you looking and feeling your very best. Importantly, all injections of BOTOX® Cosmetic and all other injectables (Dysport®, Restylane®, Juvederm®, Sculptra®, etc) are performed only by him. He has spent many years honing specialized injectable techniques and believes that his patients are best served by him performing the injections.

The following will give you some additional information on BOTOX® brow lift. If you would like to schedule a consultation to talk about this procedure, please contact Sistine Facial Plastic Surgery.

Non-Surgical Brow Lift Pittsburgh

Can both men and woman get a BOTOX® brow lift?

Yes, both men and women can be great candidates for this procedure. The ideal candidate is someone who is healthy, has mild drooping and/or heavy eyelids, and has realistic expectations for results.

Is there any downtime after a BOTOX® Brow lift?

No—one advantage of having this non-surgical procedure is that there is essentially no downtime. You may be a little red, swollen or bruised at the injection site, but this typically resolves the same day or a few days after.

How long does it take to notice a difference after a BOTOX® brow lift, and how long does it last?

You should notice a difference in 3-4 days, but it takes approximately 10-14 days to see the full effect after a BOTOX® brow lift. Dr. Leong always takes before and after photos so that the two of you can assess your progress and see what a difference the treatment has made. You can expect your BOTOX® brow lift to last anywhere from 3-4 months. Over time, the effects of BOTOX® Cosmetic wears off and must be re-injected to maintain the results.
