As if Galderma had not already cornered the market on innovation, the company recently announced a new FDA-approved injectable for organic-looking cheek augmentation. Restylane Contour is a hyaluronic-acid-based filler that non-invasively corrects midface sagging and volume loss, leading to a more sculpted, streamlined facial appearance. With Restylane Contour, lines and wrinkles are smoothed away while the facial expression and smile are beautifully brightened.
Sistine Facial Plastic Surgery, helmed by Dr. Leong, is thrilled to be able to offer Restylane Contour as among our comprehensive anti-aging solutions personalized to meet your aesthetic goals.
What is Restylane Contour?
Restylane Contour is made with proprietary XpresHAn technology, which ensures a smooth, seamless integration of the filler with the existing soft tissue in the face. The end result is a natural, unforced look and the preservation of one’s authentic facial expressions and spontaneity. Whether you are smiling, laughing, crying, squinting, or frowning, Restylane Contour goes with the flow, supporting your natural movements.
What is hyaluronic acid?
HA, the main ingredient that makes Restylane Contour so effective, is found naturally in the human body, but it declines with age. Hyaluronic acid is responsible for the supple beauty and radiant glow in youthful complexions. By reintroducing HA, Restylane Contour is able to correct sunken cheeks and combat midface hollowing.
What are the Benefits of Restylane Contour?
Restylane Contour is an excellent alternative to fat transfer, facial implants, or other invasive surgeries, as it can be performed in less than 30 minutes with no incisions, anesthesia, scarring, discomfort, or downtime. The innovative filler can help reduce wrinkles, folds, creases, and lines while plumping and enhancing age-depleted complexions. Results are harmonious and balanced when the treatment is performed by skilled practitioners, as are found at Sistine Facial Plastic Surgery.

Who makes an ideal candidate for the treatment?
Restylane Contour is approved for midface restoration and cheek augmentation in clients over 21 years of age. It is appropriate for any healthy person who is frustrated by a loss of volume in the cheeks and who desires a safe, non-surgical approach to their concerns. Our team at Sistine will review your candidacy during your private consultation.
What happens after my Restylane Contour session?
Like most other dermal filler treatments, there is next to no downtime with your injections. You can come undergo the treatment over the course of your lunch break and leave feeling renewed and rejuvenated. Mild swelling, bruising, and tenderness at the injection site are possible, but most patients find these side effects clear up by the end of the day. Results in clinical trials showed that clients were satisfied with their outcomes for up to 12 months after Restylane Contour injections.
