A Sculptra butt lift is a safe, non-invasive way to augment the buttocks without resorting to surgery. Sculptra can beautifully restore a full, voluptuous aesthetic with no discomfort and no downtime.

What is Sculptra?

Made with poly-L-lactic acid, Sculptra is an FDA-approved dermal filler that triggers the body’s natural collagen production, a youth-enhancing protein. As we age, our supply of collagen begins to decline, necessitating a cosmetic intervention. Sculptra can help offset volume loss relating to aging and help to fortify the underlying scaffolding beneath the skin, improving elasticity, hydration, and radiance.

What is a Sculptra butt lift?

A “liquid” butt lift can be performed non-surgically by injecting Sculptra strategically in carefully chosen spots where flattened contours and sagging are causing dissatisfaction. By jumpstarting the body’s collagen production, Sculptra can naturally round, plump, and sculpt the backside without the incisions, recovery, or the higher risks associated with more invasive butt augmentation techniques. Collagen is an all-important compound that gives healthy skin its underlying structure and provides the complexion with moisture, suppleness, and resilience.

What happens after a Pittsburgh Sculptra butt lift?

As with most injections, there may be some tenderness, swelling, and bruising at the treatment site for a few days, but these side effects will quickly fade. Some doctors suggest that you gently massage the buttocks for around five minutes a day for a few days after your procedure to help fuse Sculptra into the body tissue. Other than these points, there is little else to concern yourself with after Sculptra injections. You will be able to return to your routine right away.

What can I expect from my results?

Because Sculptra is a collagen-enhancing procedure, it will take about six weeks to begin seeing your results, but changes will continue to improve for the next six months. The benefits from a Sculptra butt lift usually last between two and three years on average, although some have reported augmented collagen production lasting up to five years. You will be able to undergo touchup sessions to help maintain your new look. Depending on the degree of lift you seek, you may require two to three Sculptra sessions, spaced about six weeks apart.
